The VAT reduction on electricity that the federal government wants to introduce temporarily because of the high energy prices will not compensate for the brake it puts on the index. The Christian trade union ACV calculated this on the basis of the latest inflation forecasts from the Federal Planning Bureau, writes L’Echo.
