Actor Lara Parker has died at the age of 84. It has been confirmed For Variety and For The Hollywood Reporter Parker’s daughter Caitlin.
Parker died at his home in Los Angeles on Thursday, October 12.
Parker is especially remembered for the cult series Dark Shadows, which was made between 1966 and 1971. Parker played Angelique Bouchard, the main antagonist of the main character Barnabas Collins, in the gothic soap series.
Dark Shadows -series has been remade numerous times, such as the one that appeared in 2012 Tim Burton’s the movie that starred Johnny Depp.
Parker was also seen in that film in a cameo role.

Parker’s Dark Shadows -colleague Kathryn Leigh Scott remembers the late actor on Facebook.
– We met Dark Shadows As Josette and Angelique. Many knew us that way, but we knew each other as friends and confidants. Our lives were intertwined for more than fifty years through our love for literature and acting, Scott writes on Facebook.
– We looked to each other for encouragement, support and a reliable sounding board. We couldn’t have been more different, and therein lay the magic of our lasting friendship.
Parker will be missed by her husband Jim Hawkinsthree children and one grandchild.
