The Austrian acting legend Christiane Hörbiger (84) died in Vienna on Wednesday!
First the “courier” had reported. A long-time employee and a family friend confirmed Hörbiger’s death to the DPA.
The actress began her career in the late 1950s. She attended the famous Max Reinhardt seminar in Vienna, but dropped out to play in “Crown Prince Rudolf’s Last Love”. Hörbiger had her breakthrough in the 1980s with the “Guldenburgs”.
