Actress Anne Heche (53) taken off a ventilator and died

American actress Anne Heche has been taken off the ventilator. That says a spokesperson for the family of Heche, who suffered serious brain damage in a car accident and was in a coma last week, reports The Guardian. Heche was 53 years old.
