Pearls and pigs – the actor who starred in the movie Amanda Pilke, 33, tells in a recent interview with the magazine Voi või how he got exhausted when he was only 22 years old. Pilke also fell ill with orthorexia, i.e. an eating disorder, which is based on a compulsive need to eat as healthy as possible.

The actor decided to refuse all the roles that were offered to him. This scared Pilket a lot.

– I wasn’t sure what would be left of me if I gave up my identity as an actor, Pilke recalls to the magazine.

Pilke soon met through mutual friends Velimatin, his current spouse. Velimatti was already a Buddhist at that time.

After a year of dating, Velimatti hoped that Pilke would explore his inner world and Buddhism more closely.
