Actor Rik Verheye becomes co-owner of Sporting Hasselt
RIk Verheye is known as a notorious Club supporter. He will now have to divide that love with attention for his ‘own club’, Sporting Hasselt. The two realize that their acquisition is remarkable and post it on social media: “The club came on our radar a few months ago. Since then we have only been impressed by the potential of this beautiful club and have lost our hearts in the Municipal Sports Stadium. With full enthusiasm we commit ourselves to further develop this club together in a healthy and sustainable way. We are aware of the many risks and do not underestimate our task. We will continue to build on the current operation and fully focus on the local anchoring in Hasselt.”
