Human remains found on a mountain in California on Saturday have been confirmed as belonging to British actor Julian Sands, who disappeared in January.

According to the authorities, the actor Julian Sands has been found dead, reports Reuters.
On Saturday, June 24, hikers found human remains near the mountain where Sands had been searched for.
The local sheriff’s office announced on Tuesday that the remains found on the mountain have been confirmed as belonging to Sands.
British-born Sands had a long career in television and films. He performed roles in films, among other things Hotel Florence and Fields of Death. Sands lived with his wife by Evgenia Citkowitz with in Hollywood.
Sands, 65, was reported missing in January while hiking in the San Gabriel Mountains in California.
