The pro-independence platform ‘Batec’ has burst in with vandalism at Vox, PP and PSC headquarters and has called on the democrats of the Catalan Countries to “rebel” against the Spanish state, according to the activists in a statement.
They point out that the action is part of the campaign ‘We paint our faces in the Spanish State’which aims denounce and fight “the repression of the 78 regime”, the “danger” of the extreme right of Vox and the “political and judicial persecution” of the independence movement. ‘Batec’ states that these actions are part of the response to the various cases of infiltration by the national police in the independence and social movements, such as the last known case in Girona uncovered by ‘La Directa’.
In videos shared by the platform on the networks you can see, at least, as two people dirty with scribbles made with blue paint the headquarters of Vox and PSC in Barcelona. “The Spanish State persecutes, imprisons and spies on us, and we will not stand idly by. We yell at the youth and society in general to respond to the existing repression and to that which will come with a possible PP and Vox government,” the activists said in a statement.
In a video broadcast on social networks, two spokespersons for the platform assure that the Social movements continue to suffer “the heavy hand” of the Spanish State and denounce that the right to freedom of expression and self-determination are “repressed”.
Specifically, they hold the popular and socialists “directly” responsible for the repression and regret that in a “desolate” context the extreme right is gaining ground. For all this, They ask for the mobilization to “signal” to the parties that in recent months they have “tried and persecuted” and have “infiltrated” the lives of the independence movement.
