At the start of the proceedings before the FIGC sports court, the prosecution had demanded suspensions of twelve months for Juve’s club boss Andrea Agnelli and more than 16 months for the former manager of the record champions, Fabio Paratici. He has been Tottenham Hotspur’s sporting director since the summer of 2021 premier league. A total of 61 officials had been accused of falsifying the financial reports of eleven clubs involved – including five from Serie A – in recent years.
