Acquittal for celebrity lawyer in trial crime!

No more allegations of infidelity in the case of billionaire and art patron Erich Marx.

Nothing except expenses! After months of trial thriller about the deceased billionaire and art patron Erich Marx († 99), the Berlin district court spoke on Wednesday to celebrity lawyer Hartmut Fromm (77) and the two co-defendants Violetta W. (54) and Dr. Michal D. (44) from the allegation of infidelity.

The 36th Criminal Chamber, chaired by Judge Bo Meyer, dismissed the accusation originally made by the Berlin public prosecutor as unfounded. After the evidence had been taken, even the public prosecutor’s office had pleaded for the acquittal of Attorney Fromm and the co-defendants.

The family patriarch wanted to disinherit the beloved, so the argument of the relatives, who had accused the Polish lawyer Fromm of embezzling parts of the assets.

Marx had been in a relationship with Violetta W., who was 46 years his junior, for 20 years and had a company with her. One seems “not to want to accept that the father gave his partner part of his fortune,” argued her lawyer.

The family “presumably received more than a billion euros – tax-free!” With the same legal construction, the loved one should “get ten to twenty million, modest in comparison!” Hartmut Fromm, until the end the right hand of the billionaire, regulated his inheritance.

“The allegations made against Mr. Fromm suffered from the fact that the interpretation of the will of Dr. Erich Marx was left to his descendants alone,” commented Fromm’s lawyer Alexandra Wagner on the verdict.
