– Yes, it’s very difficult for me sometimes. However, I have accepted that I look different from others. The way I look reminds me of how much I’ve worked my way out of a difficult situation to get to this moment, Piper said.
– Closure gives the eye an optimal environment to heal. I’ve had quite a few eye problems over the past year and I want them to stop. At least I don’t want them to get worse, he continues.

After the surgery, Piper felt dizzy and nauseous. He also describes the feeling when the eye is closed all the time.
– It’s difficult when one eye is constantly trying to open. It strains the eye, but it should subside and you’ll get used to it.
– I am really grateful and happy that I have another eye with which I can see all the wonderful people around me! He added.
Piper is currently married to Richard Sutton, and the couple have children born in 2014 and 2017.
