The municipality of Huizen has strong indications that last night’s explosion, which completely destroyed a house on the Roef, has to do with a quarrel within the drug environment. The security measures in the neighborhood have been strengthened by the municipality.
This is according to an update from the municipality. The municipality cannot say exactly how security has been strengthened. However, it concerns visible and invisible measures. Camera surveillance in the neighborhood has also increased and the resident of the home has been banned from the area.
Explosion
Last night there was a huge explosion in the house at number three on the Roef. This house was, together with number six, closed earlier this week by the municipality due to serious threat. No one was injured.
Due to an arrest of the suspect, the municipality decided to put security in the street to decrease. The explosion followed a few days later. Both homes will remain closed for the time being.
The fear is right around the corner. “There was a warning first of the week”, a lady from the neighborhood told NH Nieuws. “And now they actually threw it.”
