Finnish striker Teemu Pulkkinen30, Russian team Traktor in Chelyabinsk will play KHL next season Aljoša Pilkon by.
– He has a year left on the contract. He will return with one hundred percent certainty, Pilko told the Russian Championatille.
Known as a tough scorer, Pulkkinen has been playing at KHL since 2018. He was one of the few Finns who continued to play in Russia after the Ukrainian war that began in February.
Russian Pilko has acted as an agent for several Western KHL players, and he says the series will continue to feature players from North America and Western Europe.
Pulkkinen is currently the only Finn to play KHL next season. Also Miro Aaltonen, Juha at Metsola and Jyrki Jokipakalla have confirmed contracts for next season with KHL, but they are not going back to Russia.
