According to several media reports, national player Jonas Hofmann is moving from Borussia Mönchengladbach to Bayer Leverkusen.
As the “Kicker” and “Sky” reported on Tuesday evening, the Leverkusen team use an opt-out clause in the offensive player’s contract. It should be in the range of ten million euros. The surprising transfer would be a coup for Leverkusen. Hofmann’s departure would be a bitter loss for Borussia.
Only in August last year had the Gladbacher Hofmann’s contract extended to 2025, including an option for another year.
