Brad Pitt is slowly but surely approaching 60, but is still considered an absolute heartthrob. The US fashion magazine “Vogue” turned the tables and asked Pitt who he thinks are the most beautiful men – in the past or present. Pitt had two answers to the question: Paul Newman and George Clooney.

“In the world of acting, because that’s my day job, Paul Newman is my number one choice because he aged so well,” Pitt said. He also sees Newman as a role model in other respects: “According to all reports, he was a really special, generous, warm and truthful person.”

Paul Newman has been one of the most successful Hollywood stars since the 1950s. In 1986 he received the Oscar for his life’s work, a year later the award for best actor for his role in Martin Scorsese’s billiards and betting drama The Color of Money. Paul Newman died in 2008 at the age of 83.

“Color of money” in the check:

For Today, Pitt chose his castmates from “Ocean’s Eleven” and “Burn After Reading.” “If I’m going to name someone in the present tense, I have to call that ass George Clooney, why not?” joked Pitt, who is longtime friends with Clooney. “George, this is for you.”

The topic came up because Pitt just launched his own skincare brand. Vogue also asked Pitt for his top five beauty tips for his own “vintage years.” Pitt, who apparently doesn’t lack self-confidence in the beauty sector either, named “Le Domaine” – his aforementioned skincare brand – in the first place. Also: Surround yourself with friends and family, stay creative, eat at least a reasonably healthy diet—“I believe in a cheat day, but mostly healthy”—and stay active.
