Several accidents on the A16 cause long traffic jams from Brabant towards the Randstad. An accident has occurred with cars on the Moerdijk Bridge, which means that road users from Breda to Rotterdam have to take into account a half hour delay.
People who avoid the A16 and choose the A27 also end up in traffic jams. From Breda to Gorinchem between Oosterhout-Oost and Avelingen industrial estate, road users are delayed by approximately twenty minutes.
Accident on A58
The connection to the A58 is also due to an accident. From Breda to Eindhoven between Tilburg-Centrum West and Best, road users are delayed by more than half an hour due to an accident.

It is also busy from Den Bosch in the direction of Utrecht. There is a 6 kilometer traffic jam on the A2 between Sint-Michielsgestel and the Empel junction. That causes a delay of almost three quarters of an hour.
It is busier than usual, but there are no major problems in the rest of Brabant for the time being. “You see that people drive more carefully and keep more distance than usual,” says Erwin de Hart of the ANWB.
