On Tuesday evening there was a serious accident in the Auerbacher Ring in Berlin-Hellersdorf.
According to initial findings, around 8:30 p.m., a VW T4, an old police bully, shot out beyond the Parkhafen, over a bush and came to a stop just in front of a house wall.
A man was trapped with his foot in the wheel arch and had to be freed by the fire brigade. The seriously injured man received emergency medical treatment at the scene and was then transported to a hospital.
It is not yet possible to say whether the seriously injured person was the driver or a passer-by. The police are investigating. In any case, a driver was not identified according to the first BZ information. The VW bus was then recovered by the fire brigade.
