There was an accident with several cars on the A28 near Meppel this afternoon. According to a bystander, at least a passenger car and a truck are involved.
Around Meppel, traffic came to a standstill from both the A28 and the A32. Part of the highway towards Staphorst was closed off by the emergency services. Now there is no file anymore.
Both vehicles and a highway guardrail were damaged. It is not clear if there are any injuries.
