Serious accident on Tuesday evening in Lichtenberg – and the polluter just drove away!

Around 11 p.m. there was a crash in the Möllendorffstrasse/Storkower Strasse intersection in the Fennpfuhl district. There, a driver is said to have run a red light and crashed into a woman’s Renault Koleos.

The woman’s car spun across the intersection, slipped into the track bed and rammed a tram’s catenary mast. She remained in the car with injuries while the driver of the other car drove away.

The driver of the Renault suffered minor injuries and was taken to hospital in an ambulance.

The BVG pulled their car out of the track bed with the support of the fire brigade.

The police are now looking for the cause of the accident. His car must also be badly damaged.
