Two motorcyclists crashed just before noon on the Zwinderscheweg between Zwinderen and Gees. The police and the ambulance service, which went to the scene with a trauma helicopter, were called.
The condition of the two is unknown. Bystanders report that both were taken to the hospital.
Police forensic specialists are currently investigating the cause of the accident.
