The two men who assaulted an extraordinary investigating officer (boa) on the Hoge Brug in Breda on Thursday are still detained. It concerns men from Zevenbergen (22) and Breda (48), a police spokesperson announced.
According to the police spokesman, the men did not agree that they were not allowed to enter the center of Breda. The municipality had determined this because it was too busy there with people who came to celebrate King’s Day there. “A struggle ensued between the men and the boas.”
A boa was beaten and bitten on the cheek. The 48-year-old man would have been the one who bit the boa.

The injured boa had to be treated by paramedics.
