Absolute record since the start of measurements in 1887: Sun shone for 227 hours and 14 minutes in Uccle in March

Last month the sun shone in Uccle for 227 hours and 14 minutes, compared to the usual 125 hours and 45 minutes. This is a record since the start of the measurements in 1887. The previous record dated from 1931. At that time, 213 hours and 49 minutes of sunshine were measured in Uccle, according to the climatic monthly overview of the RMI.
