About a hundred asylum seekers sleep in the open air at Ter Apel

At the registration center for asylum seekers in Ter Apel, about a hundred people will sleep outside during the night from Wednesday to Thursday. According to a spokeswoman for the Central Agency for the Reception of Asylum Seekers (COA), the asylum seekers do not want to use emergency reception locations elsewhere.

On Wednesday, people were taken from Ter Apel to a crisis emergency shelter in Waalre. The crisis emergency shelter in Stadskanaal is also used to accommodate people.
