Several thousand companies with foreign participation operate in Moscow, 300 of them have announced the suspension of their work, said the mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin.

According to him, in Moscow there is a minimum level of unemployment, but the city may face new problems.

“This is especially true for companies with foreign participation. There are quite a lot of them in Moscow – several thousand, and about 300 have already announced their suspension of activities today, ”said Sobyanin (quote from the agency “Moscow”).

The Moscow authorities have promised to help with employment of people in case of their reduction from such companies, the mayor said. For this, a specialized center has been created, which simultaneously works with foreign companies that have reported the suspension of their activities and with personnel centers of capital enterprises, both commercial and state, he noted.
