About 300 asylum seekers will sleep outside in Ter Apel next night

Next night, approximately three hundred asylum seekers will have to sleep outside at the application center in Ter Apel. A spokesperson for the Central Agency for the Reception of Asylum Seekers (COA) reports this on Saturday evening NRC. That’s fifty people more than the night before. This group did not manage to find another place to sleep in time.

About eighty people were admitted to the application center on Saturday. Seventy people were taken to Vlissingen by bus at the end of the afternoon, 85 especially vulnerable people are being cared for in Stadskanaal.

No precipitation is expected for tonight. The security situation and hygienic conditions on the fields where asylum seekers sleep outside have been very bad for days.
