Abdelhamid explains how he helps underprivileged young people: “Good night’s sleep is my mission”

Abdelhamid Idrissi (33) feels at a young age how the world in which he grows up works. And he has the talent to put his insights into practical use. From Amsterdam he is building a network that supports young people. Underprivileged youngsters, like himself.

Everything shows that Abdelhamid is not telling his story for the first time. He knows the examples from his youth and identifies exactly the moments when he managed to make a difference in the lives of other young people. It is no wonder that he describes them so life-like: he has been an ambassador for his own foundation for eleven years and in those years he has told his story many times.

But even though he knows what he is fighting for, his mission is also becoming increasingly clear to himself. Only recently did he realize what it is that he really wants to offer. The symbol for this is the pillow he has with him.
