vox will exhibit this weekend in Madrid its international alliances in a summit in which its leader, Santiago Abascal, will bring together “European patriots” such as the Prime Minister of Hungary, Viktor Orbán, that of Poland, Mateusz Morawiecki, or the leader of the French National Grouping party, Marine Le Pen.
The appointment will take place this Friday and Saturday to “reflect on the future of Europe“according to Vox, which underlines the need to face “the globalist drift” that in his opinion threatens the European Union with an “attack” on the sovereignty of nations.
The ‘Madrid summit’ will also be attended by Marlene Svazek (Austria), Tom Van Grieken (Belgium), Krasimir Karakachanov (Bulgaria), Martin Helme (Estonia), Valdemar Tomasevski (Lithuania), Rob Roos (Netherlands) and Aurelian Pavelescu ( Romania).
“The purpose of this meeting is continue the work started during the Warsaw Summit: defend Europe from external and internal threatspromoting an alternative that confronts the globalist drift, which threatens the European Union by attacking the sovereignty of nations”, Vox deepens.
Abascal assures that he coincides with the rest of the participants in the “diagnosis” of Europe’s challenges and its “willingness to collaborate to build a strong European Union of sovereign nations that collaborate freely”.“We must protect our borders, our sovereignty and our roots. Europe has to be true to itself. The majority of Europeans demand it this way, “underlines Abascal, who has already verified his” harmony “with the leaders of Poland and Hungary on different trips made to those countries.
In the month of June, fifteen parties from fourteen countries signed a joint declaration in which they demanded from Brussels a European Union based on the sovereignty of its member states and rejected its current federal drift.
“In the member countries there continues to be an overwhelming desire for cooperation, and a spirit of community and friendship permeates the nations and societies of our continent. It is our great capital. A reformed Union will make use of this capital, while a Union that rejects reform will squander it” reads the text.
