Aaron Judge has signed a giant $360 million contract with the New York Yankees. Among others, Athletic’s MLB expert told about the value of the contract Ken Rosenthal on his Twitter account and the New York Times on his website.
The contract is for nine years. The annual salary is 40 million, the monthly salary is 3.3 million.
Judge, 30, is a star hitter of exceptional size and skill. Upon entering the MLB, he broke the rookie single-season home run record, the American League single-season home run record last season.
Judge has been selected for the Fourth MLB All-Star Game. Last season, he was named the American League’s Most Valuable Player.
In the season that ended, the Yankees were number one in their division, but fell in the American League finals to the Houston Astros, who eventually won the World Series, or MLB championship.
The 2023 season starts at the end of March.
