According to a media report, Aaron Carter († 34), brother of Backstreet Boy Nick Carter (42), has died. This is reported by TMZ, citing “several sources”.
The celebrity portal writes that the rapper and actor was found dead in his home in Lancaster (California). Accordingly, the police had been alerted that a man had drowned in his bathtub.
The official cause of death is not yet known. The singer’s body is to be autopsied. The police are also investigating in the direction of murder – but according to TMZ it is a standard procedure.
Aaron Carter had several hits as a child star in the late ’90s (‘Crush on You’, ‘Crazy Little Party Girl’) but was never able to step out of the shadow of his world-famous brother, Nick Carter. He was a member of the legendary boy band Backstreet Boys.
