Aaro Huttunen tells today Acute to the reporter To Maarit Åström as healthy as possible. His philosophy is that you can always live a little more healthily.
Even now, Huttunen follows exact instructions with training, sleeping and especially eating. Each meal is carefully planned in advance using a spreadsheet program. He monitors the intake of fats, carbohydrates, proteins and vitamins and trace elements on a daily basis.

The same meals and dishes are repeated day after day. In Huttunen’s opinion, there is nothing surprising about it, even if someone else thinks eating might seem boring.
– I have no problem eating the same meal even for five years straight, Huttunen assures Akuutti.
He also doesn’t particularly value the taste of food, although he has started to think about it a little differently.
– Even if the food tastes bad, it will probably do me more good than bad in the long run. If it’s absorbed in ten minutes, then it’s over. Go on with your life, it’s not like food, Huttunen describes his different relationship with food.
Tero Kyllönen, General
Huttunen, who previously suffered from anorexia and weighed more than 30 kilos less than now, eats, for example, chicken, rice, broccoli and olive oil. He mixes a smoothie with oatmeal, banana, blueberries, honey, cinnamon, ginger, cardamom and sometimes protein powder. On training days, Huttunen takes supplements, such as amino acid and carbohydrate powder. There is no candy in Huttunen’s home. He remembers that he last bought sweets five years ago.
– I don’t have a sweet tooth at all.
