Until summer with option
Former England international Jack Wilshere continues his career in Denmark. The 30-year-old midfielder has signed a contract with Aarhus GF until the summer with an option for a further season. Wilshere has been without a club since last summer after a six-month stint at AFC Bournemouth.
“I’m at a point in my career where I have to start again after a difficult time, and AGF gave me this opportunity,” Wilshere explained his decision to “change air” and “start over” in Denmark. The 34-time international played 15 league and two cup games with Bournemouth. Previously at West Ham, it had only made 20 appearances in two seasons. He made the most games of his career for Arsenal (198).
