An accident occurred between three vehicles on the A28 between Vries and Assen this afternoon. That happened near Ubbena. Debris lay all over the highway, preventing cars from passing at first and causing a traffic jam.
After half an hour the first cars were led over the hard shoulder. The road has now been reopened.
No one was injured in the accident. All three cars were damaged.
