Due to large-scale road works, the A28 will be closed in a northerly direction this evening and tonight between the Fluitenberg and Westerbork exits.
The highway will no longer be passable from 8 p.m. tonight and will reopen at 5 a.m. tomorrow morning.
Traffic towards Assen is diverted from the highway at Hoogeveen, the diversion runs via the N374 and the N381.
