The victim who died yesterday in the accident on the A28 near Beilen is a 56-year-old motorcyclist from Amersfoort.
A 55-year-old driver of no fixed abode was injured. The accident happened around 3 p.m. Friday. Three vehicles were involved.
The A28 between Assen and Beilen was closed for hours in connection with the accident.
