The A27 from Gorinchem towards Breda has been closed near Nieuwendijk since half past seven on Tuesday morning. Hank has a truck on fire. Traffic from Breda to Utrecht is also experiencing delays. There is a viewer file there.
The truck caught fire around 7 a.m. The right lane was then closed initially. This led to a seven kilometer long traffic jam from the Avelingen industrial area around a quarter past seven in the morning, causing a delay of more than half an hour.
Detour
The entire road to the south has been closed since half past seven. At eight o’clock there was a traffic jam of thirteen kilometers. The ANWB warns of more than an hour’s delay.
Traffic will be diverted from the Gorinchem junction.
