A Zoetermeer library subscription is one of the cheapest in the Netherlands: this is what you pay

The loan period is four weeks and renewal is free. The Zoetermeer rate is more than half cheaper than the price in Zwolle, because there they have the most expensive rate: 66 euros.

Cheapest subscriptions for young people

From the research of Preply it turns out that the cost for a basic subscription at the Zoetermeer libraries for young people is 15.35 euros. This puts the subscription in the top sixteen of most affordable subscriptions in the Netherlands.

That is a big difference with the price in Apeldoorn, where young people pay 61 euros for the same subscription. In Arnhem, Emmen, Deventer, Assen and Alphen aan den Rijn it is completely affordable, because young people do not have to pay anything there. Children up to the age of 18 can borrow books for free throughout the Netherlands.
