Matias Maccelli was selected to the all-star field of rookie players of the finished NHL season.

The Finnish forward of the Arizona Coyotes, who played a great rookie season, scored 49 (11+38) power points in 64 games. He collected the most assists among rookies.

At the same time, Maccelli became the fourth player in the history of the Arizona franchise to reach the top two in the team’s points market in his rookie season. Teemu Selänne pulled off the same trick in 1992–1993. The team was then known as the Winnipeg Jets.

The Seattle Kraken was chosen as the rookie player of the season Matty Beniers.
