Jari Saario rowed across the Atlantic again. The Finn arrived on the coast of Scotland on Monday at the end of a two-month break.
He crossed the Atlantic Ocean in the other direction earlier this year and set off again from Canada in June.
A video was published on Saario’s Instagram account on Wednesday, in which he gets off his boat. The steps are slow.
– The first steps to 75 days, Saario wrote alongside his publication.

Saario previously said on his account that he went rowing to Scotland the night before Sunday at three o’clock.
– I couldn’t really fall asleep and the weather looked so good. I decided that in two days I will be in Scotland. Then in the middle of the day I decided that I would go there in a day because the weather is so good, Saario said.
However, the wind made the trip difficult, because it started blowing from the side. Besides that, Saario’s back hurt.
– Probably a nerve pressed there, but it’s just pain. You can prevent it by not thinking about it.
Saario said on Wednesday that the trip will continue after this.
– There are still bets left on Helsinki’s cholera basin. During the next few days, maintenance measures will be carried out as far as they are possible. It is hoped that the boat will get a new spare oar and possibly even new autopilots to replace the broken ones. On Sunday, goods will be replenished from Finland so that the rest of the journey is possible.
– It is good to remember that this trip is not a competition, but an adventure with no rules.
