A week to bring the entrepreneurial spirit closer to the educational field

After the good reception of the first edition, the High Commissioner for Spain Entrepreneurial Nation will promote for the second consecutive year the Entrepreneurial Education Week with the aim of promoting the entrepreneurial spirit in the educational field.

That is why the day will begin on January 24, International Education Day, and different actions and activities will be carried out throughout the week that will have the support of the Ministry of Education and Vocational Training and the Ministry of Universities ; and the collaboration of innovative entrepreneurship entities and the educational field.

“With this initiative we want to bring the educational community and innovative entrepreneurship closer“, explains Francisco Polo, High Commissioner for the Spain Entrepreneurial Nation, who highlights the importance of putting innovative entrepreneurship at the service of education and that both collaborate to awaken vocations, enhance skills and create the jobs of the future. “Spain is going to become in a paradise of talent thanks to the construction of the Entrepreneurial Nation with the greatest social impact in history & rdquor ;, he adds.

Pilar Alegría, Minister of Education and Vocational Training, agrees on this and emphasizes another of the purposes of this Week: to awaken interest in professions in science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics. “We need to make visible the work and talent of many women who undertake and achieve success in our country,” says the minister.

Within the framework of this celebration, andhe High Commissioner, Francisco Polo, will visit the Polytechnic University of Madrid and the IESE business school, as well as a startup in the field of education.

On the other hand, public entities EOI, ENISA, INCIBE and Red.es; They will join the Week from their drive and work for digital transformation in Spain, innovative entrepreneurship, the economy and green employment, and cybersecurity.

Among the agents that will organize activities throughout the week are municipalities, such as Fuenlabrada and Alcobendas; the Polytechnic University of Madrid, University of Granada, Malaga and Cádiz, the Camilo José Cela, ESIC, IESE, the Complutense University of Madrid through Compluemprende, EAE Business School, ISDI and TeamLabs and the LEINN degree from Mondragón Team Academy ; and other organizations such as La Nave Madrid, Santander Entrepreneurship International Center, The Circular Lab, the Orange Foundation, the Pablo de Olavide University Foundation, Startup Galicia, Sunsmith, Talent for the Future, The NTWK, Trivu, Valencia Activa and WePlanAnalytics. ; among others.
