Norway knocked out Sweden’s 2-1 football match in a Nations League match on Sunday night.

Star striker Erling Haaland scored both goals for Norway. Anthony Elanga hit the home team with an extra time.

Haaland claimed after the game that Sweden Alexander Milosevic would have used a sub-style barking word hora, “whore”. Milosevic responded to the allegations after the game.

– In football, there are always situations where you get together verbally. And at the end of the game there is still a handshake, the Swede started.

He denied using the word Haaland claimed, although he did not remember what was being said in the field.

– That’s a pretty outrageous argument, because I don’t speak Norwegian and he doesn’t speak Swedish. I don’t know how to communicate with him when I don’t speak English on the field. It’s pretty problematic that he claims I said something I didn’t say, Milosevic reasoned.

The coaches commented

The issue also came up after the game at the coaches ’press conference.

Swedish pilot Janne Andersson was unaware of the case.

“I have to talk to Alex first before I take a stand,” Andersson said.

Norwegian coach Ståle Solbakken did not seem interested.

– Erling needs to understand that there will be situations in the field where he will be physically and mentally irritated. It shouldn’t make headlines, that’s what happens in the heat of the game, Solbakken acknowledged.

The magazines tore

However, Norwegian newspapers took everything.

Haaland ventilated his hit by pointing a finger at the Swedes in front of his mouth. He had just “silenced” Solna’s Friends Arena.

– Silent, Sweden, Verdens Gang covers the image of Haaland.

Dagbladet was even more outspoken.

– The closed face, Sweden, read in the title.

The match was second for both teams in the Nations League group stage. In the past, Norway won the opening game of Serbia 1-0 and Sweden defeated Slovenia 2-0.
