A Finnish surprise was seen at the Lentomäki World Championships.

Finland Niko Kytösaho24, has finished seventh in the lentomäki World Championships in Kulm.
Kytösaho jumped 215 meters in the third round of the competition organized on Saturday. Mittelö had to be shortened to three laps due to weather conditions.
On Friday, the Finn performed jumps of 232.5 and 218.5 meters on the HS235 hill. The first mentioned slice was the longest of the opening round.
Kytösaho’s seventh place is a rare treat for Finns in lentomäki MM competitions. According to STT, the last time Finns broke into the top ten was in 2016, when success was reaped by Janne Ahonen (bronze), Janne Happonen (6:s) and Harri Olli (10:s).
Austria became the world champion Stefan Kraft. Germany got silver Andreas Wellinger and bronze Slovenia Timo Zajc.
Kasperi Valto was the 33rd Eetu Nousiainen 38th and Antti Aalto 41:s.
