A 34-year-old striker Juuso Puustinen has entered into a three – year contract with JYP.
Puustinen returns to Jyväskylä after four seasons abroad. Puustinen scored as many as 51 power points in JYP in the 2017–18 season and was ranked sixth on the regular season points exchange.
The man then went to KHL, where he passed three seasons – one in Neftehimik Nizhnekamsk and two in Sibir Novosibirsk. Last season, Puustinen played in the Swedish SHL in Örebro.
Puustinen is from Kuopio but played his first league games in the ranks of the Espoo Blues. In the SM League, he has also represented HPK and HIFK. Puustinen has played a total of 415 regular season matches in the League and scored 258 (134 + 123) power points in them.
