Dancing with the Stars – program will be seen on TV again in its 16th season.

Last Sunday, the first live broadcast was seen on television. However, the program had undergone reforms both in terms of the initial tone and content.

The duration of the program had also been modified. The first live broadcast lasted no less than two and a half hours. In the past, the episodes of the program have lasted two hours.

Dancing with the Stars – the responsible producer of the program Jasmi Kuusisto comment on the changes to Iltalehti. He says that it is a conscious choice.

According to Kuusisto, the first two live broadcasts will last 2.5 hours.

– This is a great thing, because the feedback received from the judges, for example, is very valuable to star couples and we wanted to give it more time. Effect on viewership?

Kuusisto adds that MTV has also extended the duration of its other programs. One example is Masked Singer Finland – program, whose first two episodes also last 2.5 hours.

– In such programs, where the content is justified and meaningful, the duration can be slightly varied between episodes.

– Both of the program types are such that before the first eliminations there are a large number of competitors and extending the duration is necessary.

According to the channel, the length of the episodes has not had a negative effect on viewership.

– TTK,’s first live broadcast reached almost 1.4 million viewers, Kuusisto tells Iltalehte.
