The staff, students, and guardians of the Helsinki Pohjois-Haaga co-educational school (Phyk) received a heartbreaking message from Wilma on Thursday at 12 o’clock.

The Wilma message seemed to come from a school teacher. In reality, someone else had sent a rude message using the teacher’s username.

– Huoranpenikat T. fuck your mother, the message read.

The message had a total of 2,449 recipients. It managed to get a few answers. Iltalehti has seen the Wilma messages mentioned in the story.

– What the hell?

– [Opettajan nimi] Take it easy!

Principal Tuomas Raja sent a reply to all recipients in Wilma as soon as possible.

– You received a completely inappropriate message from Wilma a moment ago. Naturally, the teacher in question has not sent the message. We will figure it out, Raja wrote with an apologetic greeting.

Report of an offence

According to the principal, Wilma had left the teacher’s laptop open. In the meantime, the rude message had been forwarded.

Raja tells Iltalehte that he sent another, supplementary message in the afternoon.

– Wilma as such has not been hacked in any way, but the error has occurred that the teacher’s computer has been accessed, Raja says about the content of the second message.

– The situation has of course been discussed with the teacher and we have always instructed the teachers that Wilma should be closed if she leaves the place even for a moment.

According to Raja, the suspect is still being investigated. A criminal complaint will also be made about the matter.

– However, it is such a serious matter. But this is primarily the task of the school to find out. It (reporting a crime) is also a lesson that this kind of thing cannot be done and that the criminal law also exists.
