A surprise bet from a hamburger restaurant: Put a euro of cheese on sale

A Finnish hamburger restaurant brings the legendary euro cheeseburger to the market.

Snacky is launching a euro cheeseburger for a limited time. Snacky

Hamburg restaurant Snacky will bring a one-euro cheeseburger to the market for a week in December.

Hamburger patties contain beef from Finland and other EU countries and domestic cheddar cheese, says Snacky’s CEO Albert Yanis.

According to Snacky’s press release, the company wants to show that quality food can be affordable and available to everyone.

According to Yanis, the price has been managed to be lowered with the help of raw material suppliers. The CEO denies that a low price is impossible.

According to Yanis, the company is ready to continue selling hamburgers at the price of one euro even after the campaign.

– It doesn’t really make any money, but we won’t be in the red either, says Yanis.

According to Yanis, the price increase is actually not as dramatic as claimed.

– It’s strange how prices rise, even though the purchase price is not that high.

The Euro cheese concept was originally made famous by the hamburger chain McDonald’s.
