A bull caused a delay on Easter Monday on the Provinciale Weg (N375) between Pesse and Echten. The animal had discovered a hole in the fence in a nearby pasture and then went on an adventure.
He did this, among other things, on the N375, where the connoisseur walked criss-cross over the road surface, looking for the right pieces of grass on the roadside. caught their eye in time and parked their cars with flashing lights on the road to warn fellow road users about the stray bull.
One of the motorists called in the police, who were on site within minutes to help, as was the farmer who had also been notified that his bull had run amok. The animal, which had traveled a few hundred meters along the road, initially refused to be lectured by anyone, but when the farmer directed him back to the pasture with a shovel, he chose eggs for his money.
The delay took less than half an hour and went without incident.
