A storm is coming and weatherman Johnny knows when

The sunny weather will give way to some thunder and rain. It does stay warm. Temperatures will drop a bit from the weekend. “It is precisely in Brabant that the chance of thunderstorms is greatest,” says meteorologist Johnny Willemsen of Weerplaza. He expects thunderstorms from Thursday.

On Wednesday we can still expect a lot of sun, but then the weather will turn. Showers and thunderstorms are expected Thursday and Friday. “On Thursday it is especially warmer and sweltering. In the morning it is already about 26 degrees. The showers then enter our country from the southwest. It is actually cooler air that forces itself,” explains the meteorologist. “And that eventually produces thunderstorms.”

The thunderstorms are accompanied by rain. We can expect that on Friday as well. According to Willemsen it will be a bit more changeable that day and it will be about 24 degrees. “I don’t expect it to rain very hard right away, there is quite a bit of pace in the showers. But if there is a thunderstorm, there will certainly be some rain.”

It will cool down from the weekend, but it is certainly not bad weather, according to the meteorologist. Between the showers there is enough space for the sun. “The temperature is a bit lower from Saturday, about 20 degrees. There are some loose showers on both days, but they are less. It will be dry more often than it rains. So they are certainly not bad days, not even for outdoor activities.”
