Even in tonight’s episode, Marko puts his creativity to work. He plans Lotta and Severin to the living room of the utility room. The couple, who are expecting their first child, have a need for decent housekeeping facilities, even without children, because they are national team orienteers. Lotta especially doubts Marko’s decision. After the renovation, you sit on the couch so that you watch TV, behind which there are still open housekeeping spaces. There are also cabinets, but they do not make the tumble dryer easier.
– There is a messy utility room behind the TV stand, where you can keep a drying rack, Marko assures.
Lotta and Severi hope for more storage space in their home and some kind of solution for the laundry drum. Four
Lotta is not so sure.
– However, the TV is quite low. Is everything lying flat – and I have to stare at it? How about the back of the TV and the dusty wires? Lotta lists her concerns.
I can understand the concern, because when you enter the living room, the first thing you encounter are the housekeeping facilities and the back of the TV. You have to walk past them to get to the couch and the dining table. Access to the kitchen also takes place from the living room. In addition, there is a direct line of sight to the housekeeping facilities from the front door of the apartment building.

In fact, Marko also has his own doubts about his plan. He reveals them towards the end of the show.
– I’m afraid that Lotta and Severi will find it oppressive that certain rooms and hallways are being made smaller, he admits.
The placement of the TV, on the other hand, does not worry him.
– The television was placed in the middle of the room. We treated it with a glass cover so that the back of the TV is not visible. The TV stand was finished on each of the four sides.
