34-year-old Annes was born with only one kidney, and in 2022 she noticed that it started to fail.
The muscle bundle didn’t seek help for his ailments at first, much to his girlfriend’s dismay Wanna Teixeira.
When Annes health deteriorated further, she had no choice but to sign up for a new kidney. At that stage, however, there were already 68 people ahead.
The brass bodybuilder thought he’d have a new organ within weeks, but two months later he’s still waiting.
At the end of January, the brass bodybuilder was hospitalized. He waited another two weeks until he died.
Girlfriend Teixeira told how inconsolable it was when Annes finally agreed to seek help, but too late.
– Finally he had hope, but not enough time, Teixeira told local media.
Annes competed in Brazil and also worked as a coach. His popular Instagram account was followed by more than 42,000 people.
