There are no major changes in the Eurovision rules.
In the Eurovision final, the winner is decided by both the jury and the audience. The views of the national councils have a weight of no less than 50 percent. In other words, it’s not enough to get votes from the spectators, they should also be received from the professional boards.
So what issues do the councils pay attention to?
According to some information, there would have been changes to the jury’s criteria for this year and, for example, sound capacity would not be a judging criterion. Of course, this would be a good thing for Finland’s viuseo representative Käärijä, whose strengths lie elsewhere than in his singing voice.

However, it has now been confirmed that this is not the case. Of the wise official website eurovision.tv tells what the jury’s criteria are, i.e. what their judging criteria are based on.
They are like this:
– the song’s composition and originality
– the quality of the presentation
– the capacity of the voice of the performer or performers
– the overall impression of the show
Viusu’s two early favorites are Käärijä and Sweden’s Loreen.
Eurovision is sung in Liverpool. The first semi-final is on May 9. The final is 13.5.
